The modern media landscape is overrun by disinformation, extremism, and corporate influence. When unchecked, these factors drive skewed political narratives that can give rise to reductive ideologies and heightened polarization. This needs to change. We believe it is essential that people learn to critically assess the media they consume. We want people to start engaging with information on social media and traditional outlets more holistically. Instead of merely accepting sentiments as fact and disregarding the contextual implications of media, we aim to help people develop the skills necessary to analyze their media further. We seek to advance media literacy by disseminating accessible and engaging content that encourages people to be discerning free thinkers. Together, let’s undo the skew.
