We are not a neutral or centrist organization. We are pro-science, pro-liberty, anti-oppression, etc… In today’s asymmetrically polarized political climate, these values may be viewed as divisive. Therefore, while our work will never be outwardly ideological, the values that define our organization may align with certain ideologies more than others. Furthermore, though we will always try our absolute best to produce objective content, the personal biases of our team and the biases inherent in the process by which we create will impact our work. When we argue against media bias, we are arguing against media that fails to be informative because of its bias, not all bias as a whole. We are biased, but our bias does not impede our ability to create accurate, meaningful content.
